"Fonts Found in Setagaya" Exhibition

Lifestyle Design Center
Finished
Walking around a typical neighborhood, all sorts of fonts used for store signs, posters and maps can be seen. How much do we know about the fonts surrounding us, and what type of fonts are used in Setagaya?

This exhibition looks at the Setagaya area from the perspective of fonts. Typography designer Naoyuki Takeshita conducted a field study in Setagaya, sampling fonts used for store signs and various announcement boards. This exhibition presents fonts categorized according to their purposes.
