Part of the gallery, library, mini theater and lounge will be used as "Open Space", a free communication space open to the public. ICC aims to provide a wide range of audiences with the opportunity to view innovative media art as a new form of communication. On view are representative works of media art created by Japanese as well as international artists, in addition to various projects that incorporate new communication technologies. Archived documents and videos of ICC's projects are also available for viewing. This year, a new space dedicated to the theme "Art & Science" has been added to the exhibition.
