"Japonder 5" Exhibition

Lifestyle Design Center
Finished
The exhibition title "Japonder" comes from "Japon" (French for Japan) and "ponder", a coinage invented by the first group of students to participate in this exhibition. The show features a variety of works by international students.

About 350 students from 60 countries study at schools in Setagaya. There is also a Soshigaya International House, which celebrates its 20th anniversary next year. Students pursue their own interests in their respective academic fields such as fine arts, education, environmental and information studies, electronic engineering and much more. This exhibition shows visitors what international students are studying and researching in Japan. Events are also scheduled to encourage interaction with the community.
