poster for "Kankyojutsu"

This event has ended.

Focusing on ideas and concepts of non-waste, rediversion, reuse and continuation, this art event invites artists and curators, architects and sociologists to give lectures and talks, conduct workshops and stage performances in an effort to address in a concrete way issues related to the environment using familiar, everyday points of reference and materials.
Environmental problems are not related to environmental phenomena as such, but are perhaps rather a part of each of us who live in this society. This is an occasion for everyone to begin paying attention to circumstances surrounding you, confirming the problems that are there, and then adopting an attitude that can rectify them.
