Geisai is an exhibition that aims at the creation of a new art market. Mounting "Geisai #10" in September 2006 as its temporal closure, Geisai has progressed since then in a global scale as seen in "Geisai Miami" held in the American east coast and "School of Geisai @ Taiwan" whose focus was on Taiwanese young artists.

This year, Geisai is coming back to Japan!

Do you remember "Geisai Museum", the most hard-core event in Geisai history held in 2003? It was a hard-edged event in which top-class personnel from museums was on the jury at its competition and, moreover, not only the names of top 3 award winners but also the ranking of all participants was announced.

This time, internationally acclaimed Geisai will be held as "Geisai Museum 2", questioning real potential of Japanese art. It will be a great opportunity for participants to be tested their abilities in a world-class competition.
