This exhibition features work by 5 artists based in Southern California, as well as Yasunari Nakagomi, who is returning to Japan this fall after spending one year in LA. Nakagomi has been traveling between Japan and the US since 2002 while pursuing a career as an artist. He received support from a one-year overseas research program for emerging artists sponsored by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs, exhibiting work while working as a researcher at California State University, Bakersfield.
