Graduated from the Masters program in art education at the graduate school of Tokyo Gakugei University in 2004. Spent one year in Ireland on a working holiday starting in April 2007, which included a four-month artist-in-residence stint with the Cill Rialaig Project this January/February, exhibiting work at a group exhibition. This is Igarashi's second solo show at Musee F, featuring new works that depict Irish landscapes using nihonga painting pigments and watercolor tools.
