Takahiro Takano, Chihiro Minato

Takano exhibited his photo essay "Taka's Camera" for a year last year on the Internet, garnering rave reviews. This year sees part two of the Takano plan kicking into action, with Takano interviewing and having a dialogue with noted personalities in the art world which will be made available for public viewing on the Tagboat website. The subject for this talk is "Taka's Room". Special guest Chihiro Minato, a photographer and critic, will be invited to speak on the topic of "anti-authority".

Talk series "Taka's Room" #1: Chihiro Minato and Takahiro Takano "Anti-authority"
Inspired by the image of the camera as a weapon, itinerant photographer Chihiro Minato will talk about the use of photography as a wandering device. In addition, both Minato and Takano will recall anecdotes related their common mentor, the art critic Itsuo Sakazaki.
