Tetsuomi Sukeda
Born in 1985, Tetsuomi Sukeda won the grand prize at the Recruit Guardian Garden "25th Photography Hitotsubo Exhibition" in 2005, having gained much recognition since then. He continued to win various prizes, becoming more active both in Japan and abroad.

By keeping a specific person as his subject, and also by drawing on his past memories, Sukeda projects himself upon the subject and produces out of this process precisely-composed, richly-flavored work.

Sukeda's impulse "to see the scenery beyond the subject" even provokes the memories of viewers and presents unlimited possibilities which go far beyond the borders of photographic media.

On display at this exhibition are a group of new photographs and installation work using small rooms. Please enjoy Sukeda's first solo exhibition in two years.
