"Black, White & Gray" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At MA2Gallery
Media: Drawing, Photography, Installation, Art Party
This exhibition features three artists whose works fit the theme of "black, gray and white." Naoko Sekine uses graphite and an eraser on paper. Her simple process results in an uneven surface that reminds of a landscape, a kind of living creature, or a complex undulation.
Tamotsu Fujii incorporates a particular kind of natural light to create photographs with a distinctive atmosphere. His works are mainly monotone, but the colors can be felt from an invisible existence.
Motoi Yamamoto has created an installation of a tiny, complicated maze with stairways, made entirely of salt. The paths structured by the white salt suggest a never-ending search for a goal, as if the true purpose is to get lost.
