This is the last permanent collection exhibition that will be held in the Showa Building during the museum's temporary closing. This artist from Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, was a self-taught painter and printmaker who created mystical works that were heavily influenced by poetry and literature. 13 oil paintings from 1993, the year he published an art collection book, and a collection of lithographs based on paintings will be on display.
