The Bigakko group of artists produced such figures as Genpei Akasegawa, Makoto Aida, Ryu Murakami, and "Garo" Editor Shinbo Minami. The implicit influences on Bigakko on fields as wide-ranging as publishing and literature, music and the performing arts, design and comics has been largely neglected. This exhibition attempts to vindicate the position of "Bigakko culture" from the 70s to the present. In addition, stage performances, workshops and talk events will be held.
