Finished

Artists

Kishio Suga
Kishio Suga was one of the artists involved in the the "monoha" art movement in the 1970s and 80s. Suga studied with Yoshishige Saito at Tama Art University, and began making installation pieces using various techniques and incorporating wood, stone, metal pieces, glass panels, and other materials. One of his representative pieces is mounted on wood panel and gives the viewer silhouettes that seem to form the composition of cells in an organism. Other works create space through the use of stones.

The works presented in this exhibition were created in 2007 and 2008, and fill two floors of the gallery.
