Hakone Open Air Museum
Finished
In 1956, a publishing company Fukuonkan Shoten released a monthly paper-bag version of a children's illustrated book entitled "Kodomo-no Tomo." The magazine consisted of works by leading authors and illustrators which were appreciated by children to adults. "Guri and Gura," "Daruma-chan," and "Bababa-chan" were all popular stories that came out of this magazine. This exhibition introduces the beauty of the stories and illustrations from "Kodomo-no Tomo."
