Sadamasa Motonaga
Sadamasa Motonaga was born in Ueno-City (currently Iga) in Mie Prefecture in 1922. He first wanted to be Manga artist, but shifted to pursue painting. He participated in the avant garde art group "Gutai Bijutsu Kyokai" in 1955, actively practicing and establishing a fluid style using vivid colors. He continued to produce distinctive abstract paintings incorporating various techniques and methods, working at the forefront of contemporary painting.

This retrospective exhibition presents around 60 paintings, including award winning works.
