Sakan Kanno (b.1970) is known for his abstract yet precise painting using extremely thin brushes on urethane-coated canvases, similar to polished cars. In addition to being a highly acclaimed artist in Japan, Kanno has established a solid reputation at Art HK '08, and also exhibited with great success at his solo exhibition in Taiwan, selling out all the works on the opening day.
At this upcoming solo exhibition, Kanno will present his latest works, which were created on gold backgrounds.
