Mukaiyama's "Hikari-e: Light and You on Canvas" is an installation work created with light as paint, and it reaches its completion by incorporating a viewer. It generates a magic room-like another realm, deceiving viewer's eye.

Mukaiyama-san's cozy exhibit shows his range. His paintings have a classic sensibility. The colors however are very modern. The interactive exhibit is a lot of fun. The metaphors evoked through each can really make you scratch your head.
