Taisei Construction Inc.'s (president: Takashi Yamauchi) permanent collection gallery Gallery Taisei is holding an architecture exhibition by Rogelio Salmona entitled "Open Spaces/Collective Spaces" from September 8th to November 21st 2008.
Salmona is a noted South American architect from Colombia whose original sketches, models, photographs and videos - some 130 pieces - will be on display at this exhibition, supported and produced by the Colombian Association of Architects.
This is the first exhibition in Japan to take a comprehensive look at the work of Salmona, and is part of a series of cultural events to mark the 100th anniversary of friendly relations between Japan and Colombia.
