Art Spoon Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Gallery Yasashii Yokan
Media: Crafts
100 wooden spoons from among the 200 that the artist has created in the past two and a half years are on display. The artist, who usually never pays any thought to his regular utensils, happened to think of making a ladle that would fit the bottom of his cooking pan while in the kitchen one day. After that, he started making spoons with specific uses: spoons that are also salt shakers, spoons for the ambidextrous, soup spoons, spoons with forked tips. He gradually expanded his designs to take into consideration users with weakened grips or handicaps.
