This series of exhibitions presents new artistic styles that are becoming popular especially in painting genre. The artists presenting works here never attempt to show their naive fragility. They rather strive to generate new fields of art by executing their own rules, linking the society they live in and the world around them in innovative ways.

This is the 4th installment of the series.

Planned to be held at multiple venues in New York in the spring 2009 is "Tokyo Regionalism", the exhibition introducing present Tokyo through the display of various works by young domestic artists including the participating artists of this exhibition.

銀座に用事があり、たまたま出向いたのですが、なかなか良い作品のあるイベントでした。
特に池田さんの作品には心惹かれました。
妖艶で力強いもののけのような動物の作品で、色使いも若い作者らしからぬ渋くてとてもクールなものでした。
描く動物を通して、ご本人の深い情熱や感情が伝わるような
パワーあふれる美しい作品で、新しい中にも古典を思わせるような要素があり、大きな才能を感じさせられました。
他の作品もぜひ見たくなりました。個展を将来ぜひ開いてほしいと思います。
