Norio Kidera
Norio Kidera, who has worked widely in the world of photography, has just published a collection of photos of his parents house, jicca (the house where one grew up). Norio's photos, taken over the past 8 years, were shown at an exhibition at the Yokoi Fine Art Gallery in June, to great acclaim. The collection depicts scenes from around the house focusing on some of those items found in most households, the things one never questioned when growing up that were accepted obliviously, but that tend not to make it into the houses of the next generation. The logo design for the book is the work of well known art/creative director Kenjirou Sano.
From 31st July, until 22nd September, a selection of the photos will be available at SFT, along with the book, postcards and T-shirts.
