"Za Sutra: Japanese and Serbian Visual Art" Exhibition

Zaim
Finished
Yugo Art Project is a nonprofit organization that has long been involved in unique artistic activities, but opportunities for artistic exchange between Serbia, the former Yugoslavia and Japan have been relatively few and far between. The medium of photographic art in particular has spread widely and has now become a key discipline of the visual arts.
The keenest and most widely-acclaimed practitioners of photography in Europe and Japan have even mounted exhibitions that foreshadow future directions of contemporary art as a whole; in Japan in particular, reflecting a certain spirit of the age. The Serbian artists featured in this exhibition are also scheduled to visit Japan in order to facilitate awareness of their work as well as the acitivities of their Japanese compatriots and generate stimulating exchange that will hopefully become formative for a new generation of cultural standard bearers and artists.
