The history of Japanese modern painting has evolved into something absolutely unique because of the coexistence of two styles, Nihon-ga (Japanese traditional painting) and Yo-ga (Western style oil painting). These styles were developed by artists based in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. This exhibition presents works by significant painters of the modern period as well as works by influential western painters such as Jean-Paul Laurens and Claude Monet.

Exhibition Part I: March 15th (Sat) - April 27th (Sun), Part II: April 29th (Tue) - June 8th (Sun)
