"Survivart Views East Asian Art and its Economy" Talk Event
This event has ended.
At Otto Mainzheim Gallery
Media: Film, Art Talk
In the past 6 months, Survivart has conducted interviews with figures in, and collected materials from, East Asian art market with their unique approach. The present state of art fairs and auctions held in Tokyo. A variety of testimonies by people from Korean art industry. What these information give us a glimpse of is disparity between Japan, which still carries aftereffects of the burst bubble from the early 90s, and China, whose art market has been only expanding. In order to grasp the true concept of art bubble, Survivart is holding a open conversation program with the screenings of numerous interview footage. People willing to engage in set-up and management of documentary film project "Art and Money" are also welcome!
