"Pop Up Card Gallery" Exhibition

Hakone Open Air Museum
Finished
Pop-up cards are very popular among all generations across the world. Especially in Europe and America, where people send greeting cards for New Year, Christmas, and other occasions, all sorts of pop-up cards are produced every year.
This exhibition presents around 90 pop-up cards, featuring mainly cards produced by MoMA.

Also on view at this gallery cafe are about 100 snow domes. Snow domes were first created as paperweights in the early 19th century and became popular when snow domes containing the Eiffel Tower were sold at the 1889 World Exposition in Paris. The museum's original snow domes are also on display and for sale.
