大胆で勢いのよいタッチで描かれた青木の作品。「整いすぎない、手を加えすぎない」ということに気を配り、画料には極力水を加えず、下書きもせずに制作するといいます。そのタッチは荒々しいというよりは、大雑把でチャーミング。見ていると大らかな気持ちになります。今回の展示タイトル『mélange』は、フランス語で『ごちゃ混ぜ』という意味です。青木がこれまでの国内外の旅で見てきた人や物や事。それらを画用紙やダンボール、木材など様々なキャンバスに描き、一緒くたにして展示します。彼女のタッチが生み出す、賑やかな空間をどうぞお楽しみください。
