"Portraits of a Century of Brazilian Immigrants" Exhibition

Art Box Gallery
Finished
This year - also the year for Brazilian-Japanese Exchange - marks the 100th year since the departure of the first immigrant ship bound for Brazil, the Kasato. This commemorative photo exhibition, in conjunction with the publication of a book of these photographs, shows a now seldom-seen warmth and humanity in the faces of its subjects.
