"Collage: Creation by Severance and Reconstruction" Exhibition

Collage, a technique in which images detached from their original contexts are assembled to create a new image, became popular since its intentional introduction in the early twentieth century, shaking the sense of sight and established ideas, and encouraging exploration of new expression. This small show presents about thirty pieces from our collection to introduce a few aspects of diverse expressions made possible by the collage technique.

Hours	10:00-17:00 Closes at 20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.
Notice	Adults ¥420, University Students ¥130, High School Students and younger, Campus Members, MOMAT Passport Holders, Age 65 and above, handicapped people and one helper Free.

Fee

Adults ¥500; University Students ¥250; High School Students and Under, Seniors 65 & Over, Persons with Disability Certificates + 1 Companion free; Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
