"Gold" Exhibition

Mori Arts Center Gallery
Finished
This is a traveling exhibition that was first held at the American Museum of Natural History in 2006 through a joint effort with the Museum of Natural Science in Houston. This is the first time that the exhibition is being held outside America.
Gold is an eternal symbol of wealth, beauty and power. This exhibition aims to examine the allure of gold by not only studying it as a mineral and material for jewelry, but also through taking a closer look at it from a historical and economic point of view. Through the creative presentation of a total of 300 luxurious works, the exhibition reveals various stories surrounding gold, its natural beauty, scientific value and power, one that is capable of changing the course of history.
