"Asobijutsukuru" Exhibition

Yokosuka Museum of Art
Finished
There are many ways of enjoying museum visits - finding oneself moved by a photo-perfect landscape, laughing at the simplified figures of a portrait painting, wondering if you could pull off one of those haphazardly drawn abstract works... This exhibition tries to make art accessible to all from a variety of standpoints, aimed at both kids and adults. This is a prime opportunity to get acquainted with the Yokosuka Museum of Art's collection while having fun at the same time. Various guided programs, workshops and even an art appreciation worksheet have been prepared for visitors, all designed to encourage as much participation and attendance as possible, especially from those who might feel museum to not be a child-friendly destination, who have never been to a museum, or who want a slightly different spin on museum-going in general.
