"Tracing Moving Images" Workshop

Suginami Animation Museum
Finished
Two drawing processes are involved in creating animation. One is to draw the key element of the picture, and the other is to draw how it moves step by step.
Even for kids who couldn't draw as they wanted at the para-para anime workshop which is held at the museum everyday, this workshop is an easy one to take. They provide 6 to 8 samples to work from, and all you have to do is to trace the lines. During the workshop, the completed drawings are scanned into computer and you can see how animation is created.

*Participants can bring home the animation data upon request. Bring CD-R, USB flash memory, SD card, memory stick, XD picture card, etc.
