This exhibition commemorates this artist's entry into the Japan Design Committee, and aims to introduce many viewers to the breadth of his work as a designer. This artist is well known as a designer, but also runs the shop "D&Department" presenting his product selection. He has been instrumental in revising the way used G-mark products are viewed, and buying and selling sixties furniture and interior items. "Kenmei Nagaoka's ideas" will be introduced in 7 different categories. Reflecting the designer's belief, "design is product and is directly related to sales. Sellability is indispensable to design," products prices will be displayed.
