Artists

Runa Islam
This artist, who says she has been influenced by Nouvelle Vague film directors such as Federico Fellini and Jean-Luc Godard, casts sharp questions about the essence of film by deconstructing and reconstructing existing film structures. An installation work screened from a 16mm projector "The Restless Subject" and film "Merchants of Venice" will be shown in this exhibition.
The artist will be present at the gallery on April 5th (Sat) from 20:00-22:00 for a joint opening event with other Kiyosumi Galleries.
