Yoshio Suzuki
Join us for Tokyo Art Beat's new series of bilingual cultural talk events. This first edition's guest is Yoshio Suzuki.

For the past 25 years, he has worked for pioneering Japanese culture magazines such as Popeye, anan and now for Brutus as a deputy editor. He flies all over the world for Brutus special issues, covering various cultural topics such as art, design, architecture, literature, cinema, foods and wine. With his keen sense on art and cutting edge editing style, he is one of the most recognized magazine editors in Japan.
He will share with us what goes into the making of Brutus, one of the bestselling cultural magazines in Japan. Do you know what a "Suzuki fold" is?

The talk will last for a little over 1 hour and will be followed by a short segment called The 30-second Pitch. Five members of the audience will be invited to introduce themselves to the audience, promote a recent project, or announce a new product, website or company.
Then for another hour, we'll have drinks, chatting, and networking among guests and audience, complete with on-demand translators at your disposal.

TAB Talks are bilingual Japanese-English and start at 9pm, late enough for overworked designers like us. Drinks are available at the venue.
We hope to see you at the first TAB Talk.
Limited seating of 90, come early.
