2008 marks the 120 anniversary of the birth of painter and illustrator Kasho Takahata, who enjoyed his peak in the late 1920s-early 1930s. Takahata specialized in doing paintings of young men and women, many of which were used to illustrate popular magazines of the day. This exhibition presents approximately 500 of his works, including many which have never been exhibited before.
