"On The March" Live Event

On The March is the name of the Shirt designed for the 3rd Tokyo Art Beat limited edition T-shirt collection by artist Shantell Martin in 2007.
When she describes On The March she explains the concept behind the drawing on the shirt: "Take a walk around Tokyo and you will come across buildings, animals, and people of all shapes and sizes. It’s as if someone has just completed an enormous jigsaw puzzle using all the wrong pieces. Nevertheless it all makes one very complete picture."
After the shirts were released, the artist received tons of requests and pleads from people all over the globe to see the original drawing in its entirety. She did better than that by releasing the original drawing on a Creative Commons license for everyone to download and interpret the drawing in their own special way.
Then she created a video proposal titled "On The March Remixed, The TAB Story Continues..." In it, she encouraged her global enthusiasts to take the original drawing and remix and customize it, cut it and make clothes or animations with it, or go wherever else their imagination could take them.
This live event will celebrate and show off the results. Shantell's very own remixed limited edition shirt will also be unveiled and on sale at the event.
