Osamu Hashimoto was born in 1963. He completed the oil painting course at the graduate school of Tama Art University in 1988.

This year, Hashimoto produced the group exhibition "De Mystica," and participated in the "Cosmology of Painting" exhibition held at the Tama Art University Museum in June. Both shows were demonstrable instances of his unique forays and research into painting, winning critical acclaim. This show features around 11 pieces, mostly new work.
