After holding the "Parallel Visions: Modern Artists and Outsider Art" exhibition featuring artists with mental disabilities from Japan and other countries, the Setagaya Art Museum began to collect "outsider art". This exhibition features work from the museum's collection, along with artworks provided by CREAHM (Creativity and Mental Disabilities), a non-profit organization that has long supported artists with disabilities living in Belgium.
