Fun Palace is presenting an afternoon music event in two parts.

On Sunday June 22, in the Jun Aoki-designed concert hall sonorium, the magazine will host a listening session during which a recording of Morton Feldman’s composition String Quartet no. 2 will be played in its entirety (6 hours, 7 minutes, 7 seconds). The recording will be followed by a live performance by contemporary Swedish musician David Wenngren (performing under the name of "Library Tapes"). Time: Doors open at 10:00

Event Part I begins at 10:30 and will finish at 16:40. There will be no intermission, however visitors to the event may feel free to enter and exit as needed during the six hours. Modest refreshments will be provided.

Event Part II begins promptly at 17:10 and the "Library Tapes" performance will finish at approximately 18:10.

Entry Fee: An all-day ticket may be reserved through Taka Ishii Gallery via e-mail: tig@takaishiigallery.com (to the attention of Yusuke Ishikawa).
The cost of attendance is ¥3500 and will include a complimentary copy of the first issue of Fun Palace, as well as modest refreshments throughout the duration of the day. Seating is by reservation only and tickets must be reserved though the gallery in advance. Seating is limited.
