The exhibition will display the results of a collaboration between the 2009 autumn/winter collection of fashion brand Tious and 6 photographers who are Totem Pole Photo Gallery members.
Tious' theme for the 2009 winter collection is "opera". Opera of course points to the stage art as we know it. However, the word opera in Italian also retains meanings of "labor", "work" or "operation".
Artists were asked to interpret this word from their own individual perspectives and to present opera that is not opera, in other words opera that is not to be seen but to be staged inside one's self and performed not by singing but by photographs and clothes.
