Hiroe Saeki
Taka Ishii Gallery is pleased to announce our third solo exhibition with Hiroe Saeki, whose work is marked by bold compositions and delicate images. On view and for sale this time are a series of her new drawings.
Starting with her participation in the group show entitled "Incidental Affairs" at the Suntory Museum, Osaka (March 7th – May 10th), followed by "Neoteny Japan – Contemporary Artists After the 1990's from the Takahashi Collection" at the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo (May 20th – July 15th), her works will travel to a number of spaces within Japan, including the Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art, the Akita Museum of Modern Art and the Yonago City Museum of Art.
Furthermore, the artist is participating in the exhibition "Winter Garden: The Exploration of the Micropop Imagination in Contemporary Japanese Art," curated by Midori Matsui at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (May 23rd – July 20th), which will tour Europe this fall.
