Artists

Tatsuo Kawaguchi
Tatsuo Kawaguchi is an artist who has been a leading figure in Japanese contemporary art since the 1960s. Employing diverse materials from metal, light, heat as well as fossils and plant seeds, Kawaguchi explores the relationship between substances as well as between substances and human beings.

This exhibition will present 40 year's worth of work grouped under the 3 keywords of "language", "time" and "life". Kawaguchi states that "art is the adventure of the soul". By exposing our senses and freeing our imagination in front of a work by the artists, the viewer gains the possibility to earn a new viewpoint, to experience a flow of time that is greater than ours, something that touches on the mystery of life itself.
