Selections from the Hara Museum Collection

Finished

Paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations selected from around 1000 works in the museum's permanent collection will be featured. Among the works on display are Mirror Room (Pumpkin) (1991) by Yayoi Kusama, midnight sea (2006/2008) by Tabaimo, and Sleeping Giants (Silenus) (2002) by Max Streicher - a work of a size impossible to display at the Hara Museum in Shinagawa.

Hours	9:30-16:30
Closed	Thursday Open on public holidays. Open every day during August. Closed in between exhibitions and during winter. May close in case of bad weather.

Fee

Adults ¥1100, University and High School Students ¥700, Junior High and Elementary School Students ¥500, Over 70 years old ¥550. Please see the museum website for more information.

Access

10 minutes by taxi from Shibukawa Station on the JR Joetsu line; From JR Shibukawa Station, take the Kan-etsu Kotsu bus towards Ikaho Onsen and get off at Green Bokujo-mae. The venue is 7 minute walk from there.
