"Middle School Students Painting Exhibition (In Memory of Taisei Sato)"

Itabashi Ward created the Taisei Sato Young Artist Encouragement Fund in memory of cultural medallion recipient and painter Taisei Sato in order to nurture the talent of promising young artists.

This painting exhibition features submissions received by the open call for entries, consisting of work from middle and high school students at schools from the Itabashi area.

In conjunction with this exhibition, the Taisei Sato Prize Open Call Art Exhibition is being held concurrently in Sato's home town of Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, which aims to foster the next generation of artistic talent for the 21st century.
