Kosuge1-16 is an art unit consisting of Takashi Tsuchiya and Chishino Kurumada. They develop projects and activities that promote the formation of new relationships between users of local areas and their varied social contexts in a positive, regenerative manner.
Kosuge1-16 have previously created works in collaboration with local factories in the Mukojima area. They are currently developing a new model of bicycle that is optimized for urban areas with narrow streets and alleyways. With this objective in mind, this exhibition showcases a test bike course that was created based on their research into the area. Visitors are encouraged to try it out for themselves!
In addition, bicycle assembly workshops and test rallies in the Mukojima area are also planned. See website for more details.
