LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished

Artists

Keisuke Matsuoka
150cm tall bloated human forms in awkward positions covered in iron powder that create random patterns and strange textures on the surface because of the magnets placed inside the sculptures. Inspired by the film "Elephant Man", the artist became interested in the idea that "for human beings, the skin is not just the surface but existence itself". This exhibition will present new works from the series.
