Bones are perfect devices with functional beauty and an exquisite framework. Published in June 2008, "Bones: Animal Anatomy and Functional Beauty" (photography by Eiji Yuzawa, text by Akinori Higashino, published by Hayakawa Shobo) is a rare collection of photos that succeeds in fusing animal morphology with art through stylishly taken photos of skeleton samples and detailed explanatory texts. Photos of these bones, which astonished even Takeshi Yoro with their stunning natural design, are being exhibited at Logos Gallery.

Shot by photographer Eiji Yuzawa, who pays close attention to natural light, based his approach on an intense pitch-black darkness, the whiteness of strong light and a softer, more gentle illumination in the background. These bones have a sense of both lifelike sturdiness and ethereal beauty. In addition, T-shirts that show off the natural sculptural beauty of these bones produced in collaboration with apparel brand Agosto Shop are scheduled to be sold this spring.
