Artists

Yu Ebihara, Rintaro Hiramine
Both Yu Ebihara and Rintaro Hiramine are young video artists born in 1983. Hiramine has been showing his work at various exhibitions since graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, in addition to organizing and heading the Koshiki Art Project every year since 2004. His works incorporate emblems that symbolize family crests and blood relations, combining objects with no material relationship between them in order to create a view of the world with a new sensibility.

Ebihara, on the other hand, graduated from the painting department at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has been actively exhibiting his works since his student days, creating mostly installations consisting of hand-drawn animations rendered in fine lines and pale colors that portray the discrepancies between one's memory and that of others, and interactions and transactions with other people.
