"Everyday Life Another Space" Exhibition

Kanagawa Prefectural Gallery
Finished

Artists

Yosuke Amemiya, Taro Izumi, Taiyo Kimura, Hironari Kubota, Keiko Sato, Ramon Todo
In recent years, Kanagawa Prefectural Hall has been presenting large-scale installations by promising young artists, such as "From Silence" by Chiharu Shiota (2007) and "Between This and That" by Takehito Koganezawa (2008) to name but a few.

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the opening of the venue, this exhibition entitled "Everyday Life Another Space" showcases work by 6 artists who have gained much attention both in Japan and abroad.

Tackling the familiar theme of the "everyday mundane", participating artists will create new installation pieces that evoke a sense of "out of place-ness", "another dimension" and the "eternal flow of time".
