Yuka Contemporary is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition "Discollage - Is there any rules in combination?" by 5 artists, Daisuke Abe, Kimio Itozaki, Fumiko Kobayashi, Toshiaki Hikosaka, and Takafumi Yagi from December 26th to January 23rd, 2010. The visitor can make copies of work on view if she/he can answer the question "is there any rules in combination?". If no rules is found, the work will remain as "one and only" piece of art. Just as many other artists, these 5 participating creators have been asking inherent questions to themselves, seeking their own modes of expression by dissolving, fractionating, connecting, and combining the existing images or materials.
